how can you not have fun when you're drinking beer, FREE BEER, by the pitcher! :D

I'd really like to thank Mike and Bob for putting this event together and maintaining the event through Saturday's weather.

I'd also like to thank Big Dog, the officials, Innova, Discraft, Gorilla Boy (nice bag man), Pococo Tap House, Bearclaws, all of the sponsors, and all of the competitors for making this event a great time.

Thanks again,

`cjc

Alan....I second that. I love turning small pitchers into beer mugs.

I would especially like to thank Mama Solt for that kick-arse spread of potato and macaroni salad, not to mention the banana cake with white icing. After slamming down about four dogs and 8-to-10 wings, Mama Solt's grub was the perfect compliment!!!!!!!

Thoughts and reflections from the weekend:

- With the number of pretty easy holes at the two courses and the caliber of talent that was playing them - I am very surprised there were no aces hit all weekend - from Friday Dubs to Sunday's last round!

- I think it is very obvious that the time has come to explore concrete tee pads for FEW at the very least - perhaps the Do It For the Dam events can now focus on concrete tee pads. And perhaps a proposal to HR to help with costs to do them there.

- The hard work that has been put in over the last few years at FEW is amazing and shows! Having new baskets is amazing and helps so much! Despite the 12+ inches of standing water on the course, it looked great!

- Mike, thank you for everything you did for us! From having the event, to preparing such great things for us from custom pint glasses to a sweet players party to camping - it was all amazing and you really should be commended for all your hard work!

- Bob - you are the man. I applaud everything you did for us all throughout the last few weeks in preparing for the event to running the show at FEW and giving up your time and not playing - only complaint was your OB call for me on #1! (not your fault though, all mine!)

- Seeing a group of about 6-8 ladies at HR pre-doubles on Friday night and not having a single one of them actually play the only local event was very sad! Both ladies who played came from well outside the area!

- I miss you guys - hanging with everyone felt like old days and I really enjoyed it!

- Alan Mindas, you are without a doubt, one of the funniest people I have ever met on this or any other planet and for that, I thank you!

Big thanks to everyone for making SS09 a smash hit! I only hope that Mikey-poo is willing to subject himself to all that again and provide us with an even better SS10 (if that is even possible!)

I appreciate that comment :D . I pride myself on being foul mouthed and hylarious. Also i thank you for the cake to the face at the players party :P I believe there is a picture somewhere on facebook of that.

Also, my kudos go to MIKE, BOB, and BIG DOG

I know i thanked Solty a bunch of times for his hard work and use of his spare bedroom, and snuggy.

Bob was holding it down at FEW like nobodys business, even sacrificing his popup cover, to the storm force wind gusts.

I had a great time. I played 3 and a half great rounds. Got some cool swag. Had my girlfriend caddy for me in the rain at FEW.

It was great to see a bunch of locals and even some top notch pros coming up. Courses looked great.

Thanks to Bob, Solt, Big Dog, and Crawdaddy for helping out.

I'd also like to congratulate Skip on his awesome shooting. Its nice to see him near the top of the Pro division.

And, as always, thanks to Leon.
