Thank you for the flyer guys - I'll get a bunch printed and posted/handed out over the next few weeks.

Thanks as always for your help Eric...

For those not knowing what we are talking about, Mike and I have the tournament flyer nearly done and are waiting for some sponsorship confirmations so we can include them on the flyer.

We have an informational flyer done without sponsors that Eric, Alan, and Pat will bring to some tournaments with them to hand out until we get the final flyer finished.

All the essentials are on this site, but if anyone REALLY wants one, send me a PM with your email address and I will send it to you. I hope to have the other one done within two weeks.

AM1. I was all ready to play Open until I talked to Skip. If I were to accept cash, I could not play AM worlds or AM nationals. I have my eyes on playing AM worlds next year in Ohio and the following year in Rochester.

You can play open....

If you "cash" you are allowed to accept prizes in lieu of cash and still maintain amateur status.

Done, and done.

I know that, but I do not see the point of doing it. If I were able to cash and make $100, I would have a hard time turning down the bills for plastic. Ill stick to AM in PDGA events.

so the golden boy is staying AM1 for 2 more years?

no worries - I won't go pro till Masters most likely and even then I will still not be as good as you all!

Definetly this year. I'll probably play pro at Ice Bowls and AMMOs next year. I have nothing to judge upon besides testimonials from others, but it sounds like AM worlds is a good time. It being so close for the next 2 years is nice as well.

I would certainly love to get to one in the not too distant future - perhaps Ohio would work for next year... I say that now, but who knows!

I know I'm going, as well as a lot of other BCDGA members...

you might be able to split the cost and crash on one of our floors.

We're staying in the host hotel and got a sweet deal on orbitz.

Definitely flying out there though, 18 hour drive not nice.

We rented a car, and you probably can get in with us on that too..

Otherwise, car, flight, rental for two of us was about $1700. Flight was around $250 each. Car was around $350.00, the rest was hotel.

If you know you are going to play, pre-reg as soon as possible. The sooner you pre-reg, the easier it makes things on Mike, who does nearly ALL this leg work himself! The sooner you pre-reg the less money he has to put out of pocket to make this great event happen for all of us!

So blow the cobwebs off your wallet, crack it open and pay the man! Lets make this a HUGE sucess!

Quick question. Who all plans to camp? If I register today can I register Ben and myself for camping or do i have to wait until he registers for the tourny as well?
