2009 Summer Soltstice Camping Thread

I moved the Soltstice Camping Thread from the Open Forum to here as it will be more visible in the tournament section.....

I'm proud to announce that Saturday night camping will be FREE for all disc golf participants!!!!!

You will still need to call and reserve your spots but the DG player's stay is free. Any family members are able to stay @ $6 a night.

Rt 534 East of the Park - 3 miles..
Booze is OKAY!!
... $6/head/nite -mention disc golf for the reduced fee.

From the turnpike, go towards Hickory Run....and drive about 4-5 miles past Hickory Run. When you get a stop sign, keep going for about 1 more mile, camping is on your left side.

Also, the Players' Party is Saturday night......

There is no Sunday player party....only awards. SATURDAY is the players party...

Ben and I will be camping on Saturday night. The players party.......where is that going to be?

Tina and I are going to come and rage the players party for a few hours, but then we are going back to HOTEL SOLT to crash in a bed and take showers! :twisted:

Mike, someone asked me yesterday about RVs at the campground. I told them there were no services or hook ups, but I didn't see why it would be a problem. I gave them a flyer and told him to call you or Raylene about it - he said he left her a message but got no response.

Sounds like there will be plenty of people camping both Friday & Saturday nights!

ed....no need to call....just show up friday..and pay for friday...

saturday is picked up from a sponsor

Awesome. I'll be there. Hope the weather report changes. It looks to be a wet one. I'll be snoozing in the back of the blazer if that happens.

I will be coming up Friday and staying til Sunday night or maybe Monday. Going to get out the glow bocce set and make sure all lights are working.
